Okay no big deal, right? Used the win2k ones and surprisngley they worked fine I have followed the instructions in both the manual and the web site. The drivers do not have a utility to autoload as with XP or ME. I load the drivers exactly as instructed and I still get the same error message.

Are you in fact using win98SE? Please select [General] page to reinstall driver or select [Driver] page to update driver. I then followed the instructions in X: The Mother Board Conrroller.
